Anyone want to start a "Save the Lions Den" donation fund? I'll put up some dough...

I got a little extra to toss in.

Its not your fault Boot, Jeff said he would make a vanner a "deal" at $4000. He removed the reserve and let the thing go without any fair warning. Never wanted to disown a vanner before but this is ridiculous.

He knows you guys want it, now he plans to threaten the torch for big dough, she's a gonner and there's nothing anyone can do. To get it cheap and try to roll the proffit like that, he deserves a beating.

It'll come back to him. I'm willing to go 3200, and pick it up. Hopefully he'll just take the quick profit and run

ok guys,

i have contacted him again and we have a buyer if everyone is willing to pull together to get this van back. if everyone can give a little it would help. even bottles and cans building up in the garage. its times like this that we pull together that gets vanning really noticed in the outside world.anybody have any ideas on raising some dough post it here for everyone to see. i have a 96 cavalier that i am going to sell to put towards the restoration of this van if we are able to retrieve it.

IDEA:

for anyone that has random parts lying around the yard. catalytic converters have platinum in them and are worth anywhere from $25-$40 at any scrap yard. it would help.

hey guys!!!!

sold!!! If your serious. Jeff told me he went thru alot to try and sell it but no one would come with the cash. You'd think that a van with such a following would have been snapped up. I have offers right now from people who want parts off it, better act fast.

Well, it looks like the Den will be heading to South Carolina. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

I'll find a way to get up there and get it. So many things happening so quickly, my head is spinning.
Thanks to Danny. Bill and I are lucky to have a friend like you.
