Do any Truck-In Host Clubs give UVVC discounts at the gate? Hmmmmm, something to think about...

Sorry to hear Buddy.
Thanks every one.
No Snotty, still wont be able to do Thaw, not enough time now. I wont get my 1st check for 2 weeks and to much to do to the van. Oil change, reg, inspection, ect.
I have to get back to working on a few days off for the Nats now, and put away a few bucks for that trip.

Well today was the 'big meeting' day. As I figured.... layoff time. They said out of the 130 people in my department 25 of us are getting the axe... They said that our immediate supervisors will talk to us one on one Thur-Fri. My supervisor (who has his office in Arizona) will be flying in tomorrow morning and said he will be speaking with me at 11:00. So now more of the waiting game. I shall see tomorrow if Im one of the 'unlucky 25'

keep your fingers crossed for me. I really need this job !!!

I called about the job, and got the "a lot of resumes to look at, we'll get back to you tomorrow" story. However, I have an appointment with a agency tomorrow, they called me for a position that they need to fill. So we'll see what happens tomorrow, maybe it'll be my lucky day and I'll get 2 jobs. lol

Well the big boss flew in from Arizona on Thursday, and we got together at 11:00 as planned.

He told me that my job is safe. Unfortunatly, the 2 guys that work directly with me have been layed off. 25 people were layed off in all. Even though I am EXTREMLY HAPPY that I was not layed off, it seems like a hollow victory as I watch other friends clear out their desks.

Anyway Friends, thanks for all your comments and uplifting words, it helps when the reality of a layoff was looming over my head.

Well back to work...

Rock on Friends.
