Just a couple of things for you as we prepare for the upcoming eVANt in New York!

First, the shirts will be done by Attitude Check. Here is what is different about them. They take orders online pre-eVANt and bring your shirts with them so you can have them as soon as possible during the eVANt. Now, I do understand this is a bit different than at past Nats and is new to many of you. In order to make this work as smoothly as possible, I would like to ask that if you know of Vanners that are going to attend and like to buy shirts and are not online most of the time, please contact them and let them know what the program is so that as many as want can get. If you can get a 'group' order together, that would help a bunch.

The other thing is--there will be deadline for the pre-order shirts also, so please don't wait until July 6 to pre-order!

Kurt "unclemudshark" was planning an outing to the woodstock museum, or at least getting a feel for interest in one. He may have mentioned it on here somewhere.

Do we have a schedule of events made up yet? Or is it not available until we get there?

The Nats Bible will have a schedule of eVANts for you for the Nationals which start on Wed the 7th of July.

For those of you that will be arriving early, Mon and Tues are not 'eVANt' days and therefore will allow you to tour, play, entertain, rest, drink, eat and whatever else before we run you ragagged the rest of the week.

There may be some outings, such as junkyards or golf, but I think they will not be as a 'planned tour.' Some information will be available and then word of mouth advertising! Pretty much like most often at my VAN!

Can we have an advance copy of the schedule Suzie to post on the site ? There is so much to do in the area many vanners are already planning day trips up to Lake George, the Great Escape, Woodstock, Hemmings/Bennington, Saratoga Auto Museum ...
Right now we're looking at a videographer from a production company hired by Ford coming to film vanners with their Fords for the 50th Anniversary of the Econoline and just wondering where we can fit this in.
Also we're doing the Vannin.com Auction and not even sure when that is.
I'll find out if Glenn is planning another Dropjaw photoshoot, for those who knew about that it was a very fun 2 hours. The early photoshoot is another activity that would be good to know when it's happening. If any events are planned after the bible is printed they can still be added to the website.

Any idea when the Hemmings trip will be?

Okay--here is what we can tell you for now--

Monday and Tuesday are not Nats days--just parking days--you are free to do whatever you want without interfering with things at the 38th National Truck-In.

Wednesday is opening day--ceremony at noon at front gate.

Thursday is classification day for the show n shine.

Friday is the Show n shine day.
Also at 7 pm--the Vanners in Cyberspace meet and greet.

Saturday is play time--check your bible when you get there!

Also, there are many other things planned for your enjoyment of the 38th National Truck-In hosted by VAN NY, so please read your bible carefully when you get it.

One other note--there will be some information on things in the area to do on site. Many of these day trips are being organized by Vanners in attendance and not VAN NY, so once you have the information for something--it is word of mouth advertising and scheduling.

If you have already started to plan a day trip--it may be a good idea to start a new thread with it in order to keep the Nats ones pertaining more to what is going on on site.
