Thanks to everyone. Yes Gregg, the whole lower level is garage. Since we had to build up and truthfully only had to go up 6', I figured why not make it 10' and make the lower level a garage. We now in the event of a flood are actually 11' above where we were before. That is to the bottom of the front door. If we get water on the first floor, I pity everyone else. It will be on their second floors and they will lose everything. We did not want to go through it again so we are way above what they consider the 500 year flood plane. I designed everything so it would be out of harms way. In the event we do get water, there are flow threw's in the basement. I just pull the plugs in them and the water will just "flow threw". Nice feature and actually required by code. There are 11 of them. Always wanted a big deck and now I can say, "I have a damn big deck." That is deck with an "E". Get your minds out of the gutter.
We love the new house. Been a long year and a half but well worth it. Now just have the next 30 years of our lives to pay for it. Oh joy. Guess I will not be retiring early.

They were nice enough to keep falling off all night long. On the ground. On the deck. Down the steps. Made for nice sleeping. lol
