Can you tell me some more about the flipfront? We are working on a Van that's also getting a flipfront. Is the cilinder air-commanded? Can you make some pics of the construction you've made? Very very nice Van you're building Thanks, Ronnie

moparronnie, you have to go back to pages 8-11 to see pics of the tilt front end, the body work on Brian's van here is great and you have to check out all the pics from page 1 as he has made changes throughout the build.

I've read the whole tread, but not sentense by sentense. I think I'll do that I've seen some specs about the flipfront but not everything I'll have to know, but what I sead: I will read every sentense and when I have questions after that I will be here again. Thanks, Ronnie

There is no word for word description of this set up. looking at the picture it does not really look like a standard hinge. Here is a picture of the hinge.before the body work was finished around it The bolt at the bottom is the pivot point. The custom made bracket is welded to the end of the frame horn....... Remove the bolts and a couple other mounting points and the complete front end can be "walked off" .........Wookee

I've seen al the pics again and know how I want to do it. Everything is there in the pictures if I look closer. Which manufacturer made the cilinder for the flipfront? Do you have some specs of yours? Around the corner is a gay who has a hydraulics store. Maybe I'll let it run on hydraulics.
Thanks, Ronnie
