Holy cow, how did I forget about this thread? Looking good Joe!

It's been a crazy summer . Since spring we have been hosting family After we where able to send my sister off my mother inlaw broke her arm so now she is here as well .
I was very busy as well with a small side job that took a few weekends of time , but i mangaged to collect some parts while all this was going on .
I really don't like working in the heavy Humidity either and it's been bad here for weeks on end .
I did have some issuse with lining the body lines up on the filler panel and side door , so i took it all apart again to re-do it .
I had to do some back filling welding behind the hinges witch no one will ever see but it needed to be done for structural
suport . .
Other then That i'm sorry to say not much to report .

Sometimes it's best to take a break and I agree that working in the heat/humidity is not good. Might be the best strategy to gather up parts and hit it hard in the fall. Good luck with the family!

Ok guys Vacation is over .. i'm back on track now . Alright so i obtained a filler panel for the back of the van , So right as i was looking everything over i notice many years of abuse and wear and tear on the back door jamb , scuffs scratches scrapes you get the iead some had a little rust in them so i prepped the entire door jamb and epoxy primered it . Thats for when i incase it forever with the panel it will be rust free .
Now moving over to the side door there was some odd rust starting on the rocker so upon investigation i found it had been filled with bondo .
I cut a rocker out of a junk van and started to fit the new one . while keeping with the idea of doing every thing right i coated the inside of the rocker both parts with por-15 the rocker form the doner van was media blasted and treated with a metal prep then Por-15
How ever i coated the por 15 today and it is taking all day to set up due to the fact it's chilly out .
so i can't do my final fit and tack in tonight so i'll show you whats going on .
