Made a deal today for both rear doors (rust free aside from one penny sized spot just starting at the top where the bracket screws in for the pop out window), hood, grill, high back front seats (worn, but rebuildable), factory dash clock, rear chrome around the tail lights, a tail light, and the slider (rust free, couple of parking lot dings) all swapped for $100! Oh and the rear drivers door has a ladder on it too! Saturday morning I am driving out there to finalize the deal laugh laugh I am so excited my van wont look like such a pile of shit anymore.. lol Now, I am going to order my floor pans, a welder, and an air hammer to pop factory spot welds. Now to fix that pesky air compressor.. grrrrr.. lol I found out that Rust-oleum makes a rubber under coating that I am going to pick up a few cans of to coat the frame and under belly since road salts are used like there is no tomorrow out here!

I think I'm doing good so far. I tried to order the pans from Mill and they didn't put shipping on my order page. I had to call em and find out why my order wasnt processed yet. Found out the 3 floor pieces I ordered is going to cost me $35 for a total of $137! Ack! Well at least its coming together laugh

Well the floorpans ended up costing me $190 and change. That is for all four pieces of metal from the toe boards to the body mount directly behind the driver and passenger seats. I ordered the Campbell Hausfeld Mig Welder ( Seen Here ) and should have it within two weeks. I found a steel place in the town where I got my donor parts. I got some 16 gauge steel scraps for $15. Also, today I did the door swap, seat swap, and installed the chrome around the tailights. Here are the pics of the progress. I dont know if I am going to keep the ladder or sell it, thoughts?

But for me, a Van without a ladder and the spare-wheel on the door isn't really a Van ;-)

Well, I have rear window louvers coming. Sooooo, I dont think the look would be right with the ladder and the louvers. Also, these doors had a spare tire carrier, but as you can see, it is long gone. I think I am going to pull ladder once the louvers arrive. I also seem to think it is just a rust magnet anyways.

Looks good. I like ladders and roof rack and spare tire carriers. If you do any camping or long trips it is nice to have some kind of cargo carrier on the roof to reduce interior clutter. Spare tire holders also reduce interior clutter and a makes getting at that roof carrier much easier. However, to each their own! Are you going to put the sliding door track cover back on?

Too bad you aren't closer. I have a set of slotted mag wheels I would give you.
