I was extremely lucky in my working days. I got into Ford Motor Company in 1968. I retired after 33 years with Ford. Was only laid off once, but it only lasted for 5 weeks before I was called back. I drove hi-lo for the last 10 years or so. I ended up with good benefits but it was a long 33 years. At times I hated the job, but when I'd think about how bad it was everywhere else, I'd stick with it. I really feel for all you guys & gals that can't find jobs. All of the good paying jobs have gone away, mostly to foreign countries. I saw the handwriting on the wall years ago with the invasion of foreign cars & motorcycles. People quit buying American products & destroyed the Unions that were the backbone of this country. Don't get me started.. lol..Here is to wishing everyone the luck that I've had in finding a good job.. cheers..Cheers!

I worked in Aerospace machine shop for 30 yrs and got hurt & they escorted me off the property, fought workman's comp for 2 1/2 yrs..I lost my house ,1/2 my property and moved into my red van with 2 torn rotor cuff's for a yr till the lawyers worked it out, they waited too long and now my L. shoulder is unfixable....I went from $3500 a month to $1088 and no chance of repair ...

I guess I'm a new member of the unemployed vanner van club,I work at a golf course I got laid off on Oct.28th two days before my birthday. This happens around the same time every year,at least I know I will going back in the spring. It does make it hard to survive because of it taking 28 days for UI to kick in.You get behind on everything during the winter then it takes until late summer to get caught up.I'll just have to keep plugging away, besides the $2.00 I won in the lottery won't take me very far.

well, I'm stuck, and not many jobs available for me to try to get in, or around Fort Wayne, which kinda sucks for me...
