nah, i work nights so i got all day to do it honest!

Son. of. a. Bit(h. got the phone call, my driveshaft is done. $234.80 later. Said it would be cut and balanced for $100. Apparently the shop that rebuilt it let a needle fall in the u-joint and indicated it and balanced it that way. Theres where my vibration came from. So they had to cut the whole shaft apart, re-indicate it, weld it back together and balance it. More than double what they told me it would cost. Guess im not getting that back til next week, wonder how much change is in my jar!

not really i suppose, if you consider the drive shaft was .060 out of round because the shop in FL indicated it with a needle bearing sitting sideways in the cap.

And now for a new challenge. My faithful trusty ugly Olds took a crap today. Got a bad noise coming from the top end. Sounds like a handful of shot got dumped in the rear valve cover.... F-in sweet....

Damn that sucks.
