I'm a proud member of this club. And have been since I was 2 1/2 years old, when my dad bought a new 72 E100 and turned it into a camper and my mom's daily driver; I grew up in that van.



I currently own two more of them (had a third but cut it up for parts last year): a 1972 E200 Chateau and a 1974 E300 Chateau:

I'm no ford guy, But I do really like the mid ford van. One of the best looking van front ends in my opinion. Cool pics, thanks for posting.

Okay Fish tank boy. . . . I want to know how many gallons would that fish tank of your hold ? Any guess anyone?

I am thinking just the passenger area of either one of those fish tanks of your, if sealed up, how much water would it hold ?

There are 231 cubic inches in 1 gallon.

There are 12*12*12 = 1728 cubic inches in 1 cubic foot.

1728/231 = 7.481 gallons per cubic foot.

Approx Inside dims of the van not counting the curvature of the walls

5 ft wide 5 ft tall 16ft long...2992.4 gallons

The van will then weigh 23939.2 lbs plus the 4600 for the van itself...real close to 40,000 lbs...EACH
