gotta skip this one need work OT Sat

Hey guys , I hate to say it But I gotta stay home this weekend. Gotta have a bunch of excavating done at the house this Saturday. That was what I said earlier i was worried about. The guy came by last night and said he would be here at 7 am saturday morning and do the dirt work and set forms and pour concrete. I gotta be here. Damn , wish it could be a different weekend , just worked out that way and for a freebe I can't say NAW... Let's wait a week or so. Have fun to you all see you next year and down the road this year.

I saw a Big Black van hooked to a Big camper Friday mornin in Sprinfield, Illinois i thought maybe it was Darrins Vanatic, but couldn't get close enough to see if it had Flames. I though maybe it was headed to Indiana, but it went 55 North. Hope Everyone's havin a Great time, it was 80 degrees in St Lou Thursday what happened ?

I do hope everyone has good weather and is having a blast. I wish we could be there. But had to do a bunch of excavating and regrading around the house and remodel the entire back yard, form up a new sidewalk. Payback for fixing the Gate (Pix on The tranny and shifter thread) The backhoe was here from 7:00 to 3:30. Moved a mountain of dirt. My neighbor told me probably two of his dump 14 ft. trucks full. I had to take advantage of this weekend for him to come and get this done. Sorry Guys from Bluegrass... our hearts were there.

It probably was me, I left my place around 7 and stopped at Wally World in Springfield then took 55 north to 72 and headed over, I assume you were driving a semi, as I have eagle eye for vans..lol...

Weather better than predicted--although, still wet. Damp not good for healing, lots of meds and sleep for me. I still had fun--haven't missed a VAN JAM since '92--I was going!

Glad you guys had a good time, SOOOO sorry we could not make it, Had a backhoe working in my back yard for eight hours Saturday and Me and Linda working for longer Sunday, doing all the grading and dirt work blending in two dump truck loads of top soil in . Then monday had cloud bursts and screwed it all up before we got to seed....DAMN. WE did have our hands full and hated to miss Van Jam , it still is our old time favorite. been doing it since '77 or '78, I know because I have window stickers... So I know I was there...
