Thanks yall. I appreciate it. Yes Definitely need rims and tires. I'm going with chrome but dont know exactly what yet. I'll have to keep the same tires, just flip them due to funds. I shot my whole wad on the van but I still stole it.

I had planned on removing this back window A/C unit but it may come in real handy at an event and it's a respectable install job for the most part. The original pop-out glass came with the van. Never have had one before what do y'all think about that?

It's a really nice van, congratulation.

For the rear ac unit, I would remove it, becaus IMHO it looks ugly.

I would leave the A/C. I've got a similar set-up on my Ford. One thing you might consider is painting the A/C's cover to match the van. Good ol' Duplicolor. If you don't like it then, you can always remove it later. They do come in handy.......
Adding a chrome grille protector don't hurt either.

BTW...you did good!! That's a very nice van!!

If I am not mistaken didn't you go by Big Gun on the V.C.V.C. forums?

Very nice, well laid out Conversion Van you just scored.
Personally I am not crazy about the A/C unit.If it works for you work with it.

Nice Score....

Yep Wookie that's me. Thanks for the input everyone. I got to lookin at the AC unit yesterday and it drains onto my chrome spare tire ring and its starting to discolor it plus i will probably only be able to use once or twice a year so the AC unit is coming out. Hope I can do it without messing up any paint.

Something else I really like about this van is that the middle row of captains chairs come out with the flick of a lever. I can take them out, lay down the rear bench toss in a throw rug and it will be just like back in the day. I, m going to check it out and see if maybe I can build some sort of (safe) removable bar to go against the wall behind the drivers seat. You know, have a convertable conversion van. From people hauler to old school.
