Should get great gas mileage to. Plus later on im gona swap to an older model head so that i can change to a diff intake and carb. Kinda thought about doing a throttle body setup. First things first though _________________________

I dropped qa 69 6 in my 77 van that had the modular head 6 originally. It was almost like swapping in a v/8. Very noticeable difference in power and low end torque. Good to hear you are keeping her. I hate the carb thats on this thing now and i dont like not having the option of changing intakes. May go ahead and change the cam while im at it. With all that being done and having that 5 speed it should cruise nicely _________________________

Hope to post pics of the full swap in a few weeks. Hope eveyone has a great and safe Independence day and to all who are making the trip to the nats, i hope all have a safe and great time. I know it looks like i dont know what i wanna do but have had some tough crap to deal with and hard choices to make like this one. Hopefully in a couple years i can get another one.
