1976....I had an 8 door Early Ford traded it for a puke up then found vanning..  .......but then I got this as a travellin..van. 69 E300, 240, 3 speed on the tree.....15 inch 8 bolt wheels with a 9 inch steering wheel...great for the biceps !

'61 Corvair 1973. Took out the 85hp motor and put a 110 hp '65 car motor in it. Still wouldn't make it up Pikes Peak, but it did make it to Tiajauna. Then I had to take the motor out in a parking lot in Santee CA to switch the tranny with a Corvair car that was laying on it's side in the same lot. Good 'ol days. Got home with $10 in my pocket, no credit or debit cards in those days.

In 1986 I bought a 73 Volkswagen Westphalia. I drove it all across the prairies in Canada and into the northern states a few times, was a great van, but the heat sucked living in Winnipeg so I didn't drive it in the winter. it was punkin orange and I loved it.

An 1964 chevy,200.00 bills until my dad got home from work,lasted 30 min. a little rot box,i was 14yrs old thought i did good @ the time

I bought my 1st van in May of 1980. Here it is a year later, when I bought it all that was on it were some western turbine wheels and the heart portholes THATS IT!! [img:center]  [/img] Wow these 2 pics together are pretty funny. WOW ! Thats some hair Munz ! Is that the same van in your sig pic? Very cool yo have held on to it so long, and done such a great job with her build over the years.
