(Vehicle-94 ford econoline e150 4.9L) Maybe im near blind but i cant find my mass airflow sensor or the wiring harness but i definately CAN find my air intake duct...My manual said it should be located there, maybe it was for a different engine type? I dunno. I have looked all around this area and cant find nothin. Shouldn't the MAF be located around the air duct/housing? Do i even have a MAF? lol

You don't have a MAF based fuel injection system. You have a speed density system that uses a MAP but doesn't have a MAF.

Theres your MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor in the top left part of your circle bolted down on top of your HVAC box.

OHHHHHHHHHHHH! Thanks reed! This was blowing my mind..
Would a OBD-1 code#129 be a MAP problem? I was thinking MAF but i guess not having one rules that out..lol

Matt, check the vacuum hose to your MAP carefully. Even a slight split or small pinhole will throw you a code. A collapsed hose will do it too(or as me and you say here in GA: a mashed hose )

Do they still "mash" a light switch down that way ? No, no...we flip a light switch. We mash buttons. Unless we're puttin' two things together.....then we mash 'em together.
