Not a dead battery, checked that but had to run to work.
When i get home, what should i be checking first. I know that i have a whole mess of things that need work on the electrical side of things (half the guages in the dash do not work).
I have a tester and the diagrams but which way do i start working from...the battery towards the starter and onto the ignition or is it vice versa?

First thing I would do is run a ground wire over to the starter relay and see if it starts. If it does, you may have a bad neutral safety switch. The safety switch provides the ground for the starter relay.

I had an issue like this once on my van and took some emery cloth and cleaned up all my contacts between battery and starter and grounds and viola! she started right up. Replaced the starter before I found out what it was... *sighs*

Do the producere outlined in this thread: http://www.vannin.com/threads/ubbthreads...html#Post553332See if that solves the problem. I think I need to make a sticky thread for the mid-dodge owners about the electric system on those rolling piles of misery.
