Wookee.... I like the "Dutch door" Idea that would probly be the best for getting in and out. And no reskining the door the cut the inside all up probly to loose weight on it. The hinges they used are smaller thab the Ford stock ones so you can imagine how that worked out.The door is trash but we will fill it with somthing! Stardreamer.... I didn't realize it was for sale before! Guess it was meant to be!!

post some pictures of the inside of the door when you get a chance.
I am getting ready to do a "Shorty" gull wing for the back of Big Red.There is a local fab shop here I deal with that has a press brake and is real reasonable supplying/ bending steel....
An inner frame work can be made up with out a bunch of head ache....
Hinges can also be a small issue.....

Will do. You have to promise not to laugh! The door is horrible. Everything can be fixed (including the "infected" dash but they really messed the side door up. IMO.
