i think the smooth look would be the way to go, maybe instead of his n hers, maybe incorporate a flush fit power moonroof from a newer car? the kind that flip up and back kind of like a spoiler. I think that would be very unique. That would be cool. If you cut a power one off of a car at a boneyard that can vent and open in the back or slide back onto the roof when it is open...that would look really neat. A lot of those have smooth roof areas around them and they have to be really supported from the underside. I definitely like that idea. Sounds like it has to be the plan. Now to find the right roof.

Here is a power roof /vista cruised set up in fellow radical van builders Frank Costas Number 9...... The sunroof was out of an Impala i believe ......Wookee Thanks for that picture, I had forgotten all about that. Saw a nice one the other day on a Sebring. Would be cool if it will work as to keep it all Mopar.

I vote smooth too. I really like the idea of power sunroof like Frank's #9. Your work is really looking nice, Ken. I have no metal working skills myself, but I sure enjoy watching your work. Keep it up buddy! Thanks buddy! I'm glad some people are enjoying the build. I love these build treads, and especially the chops and radicals. I love learning about how much work and knowledge there is behind all of these fantastic custom vans. As I don't hold this kind of knowledge myself, I can only compare your work to the other guys on here building their own custom vans, and all I can say is that there are several great fabricators here on vannin.com. Keep it up buddy, we want more!
