Cardone P/N 40394 (1979-1984) w/delay

Cardone P/N 40380 (1972-1984) w/o delay

Wow...I had no idea the motors changed in 85. I guess that means the parts I have will only fit 85-87 vans.

I did find this switch for marine applications on ebay:

It is a five position switch:

(1)Continuous Slow

(2) Continuous Fast

(3) Intermittent -3 second interval

(4) Intermittent -6 second interval

(5) Off

It looks to be self contained, is a compact, rotary style like OEM unit, and under $50 inc. shipping

Interesting solution VanDude. If you can confirm it will work with your wiper motor, I would give it a shot.

Nate- I think the parts will physically bolt into the van, but you have to use the switch and wiring to match the year of the wiper motor. I think the change was all in the wiring.

Reed, you're right about the Pick&Pull bandits.
A switch, control module, and wire harness from a '75-83 Ford F-series pickup or
E-series van would work for this project, but P&P wants between $50 & $70 for everything...

(depending on whether harness is considered "small, medium, or large" )

Yeah, screw those guys. That used to be the only junkyard I went to anymore, but now the prices are insane for a junkyard.
