FYI- this means your van now has a 727 in it if the original front yoke was too small.

Got the stupid sending unit for the coolant temp installed. Someone apparently took out a plug or something that wad in the intake and replaced it with a threaded fitting. My thought was that it was the coolant temp sender, i was wrong and found the actual sender, but not before i pissed off the guy at auto zone until he found me one that fit the bigger hole. So now i have 2 coolant temp senders. One for back up

ah ha! That makes sense. Now it will run off the factory guage. It aint a racecar, dont need a bunch of guages all around. I got oil/water/amps and fuel, thats all i need.

Ok, so on to the next issue. Apparently the trans is stuck in gear. I dont know if i am looking at it wrong or what, but i cant get it to shift gears by hand. Anybody got a pic of the shift mechanism i can see for reference?

Can you move the shift lever on the trans by hand with the shift linkage disconnected?

the shift linkage isnt connected at all. No, but maybe im doing something wrong.
