So, I have spent a lot of time since last November thinking about this and finally was able to make part of it happen. I ended up driving cross country to pick up the heart donor for my van's future transplant. Drove from Oregon to Tennessee and back to get it, then spent a week stripping it and scrapped the rest. Donor is a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 SRT-10 pickup that had been rolled over 3 times sideways, once forward/back. My buddy was the owner of the truck, and the driver when he wrecked it... and walked away from it with a few scratches luckily for him. At any rate, here are the pictures... lets just say it was exciting! Especially when I was able to fire it up in the wrecked truck! haha. Feel free to ask any questions! smile Hope this inspires more to do similar things... lol.

FYI, my van's current engine/transmission/ignition, complete from aircleaner to oil pan and from fan to tailshaft output is for sale ($5000 without nitrous setup, $6000 with nitrous goodies). If you want details about exactly what the engine has done to it, vintage of block, etc., PM me and I'll let you know.

NO WAY?!?!?!? Dude that’s going to be SICK!!!! I was shopping around with the same basic idea a few months ago. Totaled out Vipers are way too expensive. I think scoring a truck like that is the way to go. Even rolled like that they are not cheap. Many of then are an auction type gig and nowhere close to me, hehehe. What a great score (I'm excited for you, lol)! I can’t wait to see how that works out for you!

Your gonna have the only SRT-10 Van around. I'd put that SRT emblem on the back door. devil

Those seats are in my buddies (who used to own the srt-10 truck) diesel. I just stole the head rests from him so I can eventually get seats and use them on em. smile
