Thia was a GREAT run as always!! I have been to quite a few Thaws and really enjoy them because its usually my opening truckin of the season. Was good to see everybody and meet some new people too. This event inspired me to rewire my interior with a converter and battery charger, I'm getting kinda tired of packing up and hooking up (X 2) all the stuff to get electric in my van and maintain the battery so...... Thanks to all who put this together for the past 30 years I really do appreciate it and I will return next year when GNVC takes it over. Thanks again Phil and crew!!

Had a blast! Thanks again Phil! Great to put faces with names also. Sorry I didn't visit with everybody but we know how it goes, the booze goes in the brain goes out! I had a ball! Even got a ride in the Galaxy Cruiser!! (Thanks Charley!)

Thanks to everyone that helped make this run a huge success. I had a great time! I really liked this fairgrounds, and I hope there will be another run there sometime in the future. It was great to see some vanners that I haven't seen in awhile, and meet some new ones. Including a surprise visit from Eric Leadfoot! This was also the fist long trip this year with my van. I'm happy to report that she ran the 500 miles round trip with no problems. And even picked up a couple 1st place trophies along the way. Should be all set for vannin' season. First run done, hope to see you all again at Lost Weekend.

I had fun hanging out with you over the weekend.

So glad everyone had a great time at our last event. Tried to make sure it was a good one. Too bad we didn't find these grounds years ago. Only downfall was the shower situation but we did manage to have showers and they were hot too. Now onto the next stage in our lives. Just glad we could have our granddaughter at the last one as well.
Now Generation Next will be picking up the reins with their new run. Looking for a name for their run. My suggestion was "After the Thaw". Just a suggestion. Not sure where they are going to host their event just yet but make sure you support them in their endeavors. They helped us out so much during the weekend. Also had help from Rickie, Henry, Cherry, Jarry from SCV and others who I can not remember right now.
It is sad to end this but at the same time a bit less stressful. Just glad everything came off as it should have. The grounds people were very impressed with us and impressed with the way the grounds looked. Very clean. Thanks to everyone for that. Glad we were able to have fires since it was just a bit chilly.

Had a great time as I knew I would. Thanks to all that helped put on a great run.
