Well Gary. You sure took me down memory lane from our, Gateway Vans, Ozark Mountain Truckin. The Strohs van was built because the guy was so taken by the vans he had to have the company make one. When I joined Gateway in 1979 it was the 5th year for the Ozark Mountain and we hosted almost 850 vans that year at Pinewoods Park. Pinewoods was noted as one of the nations best for the truckin and drew vans from, well everywhere. The green Van "Irish Spring was Butch Couvions. He built it himself. I bought that van in 2002 and it was , as you say, pretty well eaten up but I got good parts off it and made a lot of money off the 66 Charger front end off ebay. Musical spuds is a Gateway Vans original game. Every year we would have to clean the old mudhole out of glass and metal and crap that campers through in it after we were gone. It was a big hit and drew a large crowd. We all fought over the job of washing off the girls.
