Install an aftermarket oil pressure gauge that tells you exactly what the oil pressure is. The stock Ford gauge is very slow to react and reads lower than you think. In my 89 Ford I run both the stock gauge and an AutoMeter oil pressure gauge. The motor in my van has about 25 PSI of oil pressure at idle once it is warmed up but the stock Ford gauge reads close to the bottom of the scale. As soon as the motor comes off idle the oil pressure goes up to 50 PSI. It takes a while, but the factory gauge eventually puts the needle about in the middle of the gauge when the Autometer gauge reads 50 PSI.
Try running 5W-30 oil and use a Purolator, Wix, or Napa Gold oil filter. Do not use Fram. I have had motors gain 5-10 PSI of oil pressure just by putting in 5w-30 oil and changing the oil filter.
Remember, you only need 10 PSI of oil pressure per 1000 RPM. If your oil pressure is below this, then you should inspect the oil pump and the bearings. It might be something as simple as trash blocking the oil pump pickup or a pressure relief valve that needs to be serviced.

I was thinking that Reed, i rarely trust factory guages. Was funny to me because it wasnt knocking or makng any noise. Its also 2 quarts low, fixed that and as soon as i replace the vacuum lines my buddy ran out to get, ill fire it up and see what i got. Hate chasing gremlins. Oh and the exhaust bolts are a no-go. Takin that s%^t to the exhaust shop...

I hear you about the exhaust bolts. Good luck! I highly recommend Remflex exhaust gaskets, but I am pretty sure your 300 doesn't use pipe to manifold exhaust gaskets.

Awww, come one! Get a wild hair and spray those things down with some PB Blaster, let it soak overnight, and then go heave on the bolts with a ratchet and a cheater bar! But get yourself some Remflex gaskets HERE first.
