i stopped watched gas prices in 2006 when i bought my 04 Lightning. haha

however... whats sad is we have enough oil in nebraska, montana and travels into canada which would fuel us till 2041... kinda sad we still have to use foriegn shit. few trillion barrels last time i looked into it.

The gas in my opinion started it all a few years ago!

I just paid $3.61 per gallon last night. I agree with Hippie - it started with the whining from the arabs about raising prices and constricting supply to get them. They go way up, then when people stop buying the prices come down a bit, although still much more than before. We get used to the new prices as normal and then the cycle repeats. Think about it - less than 5 years ago the price was under $2 per gallon. We've been slowly acclimated to $2 gas, now $3 gas, and mark my words, soon acclimated to $4 gas. I say F**K middle eastern oil and start actually using the HUGE supplies in our own backyards and those of our northerly neighbors.

$3.09 at the corner Gulf today, but I suspect that will change. All the surrounding stations are at $3.25 on average.

If it gets close to $4.00 I will shop around for a minivan or car for daily use.

Just got gas at 3.25 today. It was the cheapest around here. The others are jumping to 3.29. They are blaming all this on the uprising in Libya. What next? Oh yeah, coffee is going up because of some uprising in some African nation. They will get you everywhere and use some stupid ass reason to raise prices that have nothing to do with what we are currently seeing.

Thanks to the turmoil in the middle-east, hang onto ewer asses. Ewe ain't seen nothing yet. Gas, then food, then everything else will go out of sight. OPEC will rule the world. USA will get caught with her pants down. No rails anymore. No mass transportation. Big Business took all of her big jobs overseas. USA is only a shell waiting to collapse. China & Russia (Yes! Russia!) are watching! Russia is NOT the sleeping bear that it pretends to be! Oops! Sorry for the hijack. I'll get off of my soapbox & return ewe to ewer regularly scheduled program now.
