Does anybody else have a hard time explaining when someone at work asks "What did you do this weekend?"

Lol. Just point to the vannin.com sticker and tell them to just take a look for themselves

Guys at work all know what I am. Got the VCVC calendar hanging at my desk, the Moon Lite Vans magnet, the Armed and Crazy van as my screensaver, the vannin' t-shirts I wear, etc.

No explanation is necessary.

You would think that people "get it" at some point in time?

We go to the lake EVERY weekend and I am ALWAYS tanned and dark like crazy on Monday morning. So I face the question with another question, trying to stimulate the mind (of others).

And guess what: In most cases they "get" it ("where you on the lake again?".

I work with a bunch of foul-mouthed, hard-partyin' crazy people, so it's not like I have to lie about what goes on at the runs. But being in the middle of New York City, it's hard to explain the culture to people who grew up here. I get a lot of, "You drove 4 hours just to go sit in a field and drink beer?"

On the other hand, the lowriders in my neighborhood where I live totally get it. When I'm out working on my van in the street, I get nothing but respect from them.
