Being a huge fan of sunroofs, I absolutely dig the heck out of those giant sunroofs on those VWs.

Looks like Marley Station Mall parking lot Lee! It was Marley Station Mall. They are there every Saturday night and there had to been 300 cars. There is usually a van or two.....maybe mine will be ready to take there next year.

While the earlier buses had sliding ragtops (which are also ultra-cool!!), these Type II VWs had massive sliding steel roofs, covering fully 1/3 of the roof area. I think this is the culmination of steel sunroofs and the most ultimately cool sunroof ever produced.
