After this and this I have an old good dead small block When oil pan was removed, this surprise appeared: So, now I need new camshaft, rods and pistons. What pistons and camshaft should I get for stock/street engine? Is it good choise a something like COMP Cams kits for camshaft?

Just use stock type flat top pistons and a cam with a rpm range from just under 2000 rpm to about 4500 rpm. You get the best street performance and gas mileage that way. To many people put bigger cams and ruin the driveabilty and performance.I have used this on many engines I did and never had a complaint.

Check here, as they are about the cheapest here in the states for rebuild kits. www.northernautoparts.com/You should do the bore before you order pistons.

You really need to tear into this engine a bit farther to tell exactly what parts you are going to need. Just by the damage ed parts it look like you will be needing a new crank. The bores of the pistons will also need to be checked for damage and how much there is. Boring a SBC out 30 thousands is a good reliable up grade. you will have to purchase the correct pistons and rings to go this route. Finding a good machine shop to do the needed machine work to the block might be a problem. Using a junk yard crank is really NOT a good option. The crank and main bearings are the life of a SBC The cam shaft is more than likely still good,I would replace that with a nice low end torque style cam shaft.
I am not really sure how ANY American vendors handle shipping parts to your part of the world.
Good luck with your venture.....

thanks for your opinion, mates! yeah, now I need new crankshaft, but I try to find any in my local stores or shops - due to very high weight it's very expensive to order crank from US. I checked block visually - all ok, but I'm going to make pressure test of the block. The problem is, that in my city exist only two place, where I can do all machine works.. Let's divide all engine components at groups and make clear some details for each group. At first, I found COMP Cams kit for street usage, 2000-6000rpm http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CCA-CL12-209-2/and COMP Cams timing chain kit http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CCA-2100/But I'm not exactly understand what means note "Will not fit factory roller cam applications".

I would be curious what all the parts, machine shop time, etc....would add up to vs a new crate 350 motor....$2,395.75 from GM 350CI- 290hp 4 bolt block..... a local machine shop can rebuild an engine for close to the same price as a brand new crate engine. the major differance is the crate engine is BRAND NEW. the also come with a warrenty that is good at any GM dealership. I have one in my early that is in it's 2nd vehicle.getting ready to put it into it's 3rd here soon. It has close to 100,000 hard miles on it.

Some SBC engines (305's)came with Roller cams from the factory. This cam will not work on this style of engine. .......Wookee
