Hey guys, thanks for checking my post.

Key facts
-1990 Dodge B350 Xplorer conversion
-Radio stopped working 3 days before the Microwave stopped working
-Just changed the oil in the generator.
-Was out exploring around Sedona, AZ and did a little off roading, very bumpy
-Worked just after changing oil
-4-5k in elevation
-all breakers and fuses fine (Is there another fuse box besides the one in the glove box?)

The generator starts and runs fine. It almost seams to me that the switch that allows the microwave and AC to work after the generator has ran for a while no longer works.

Any ideas guys. I know nothing about electronics.

Chris

You should have Circuit breakers in there someplace. sounds like it's tripped. or U lost a ground someplace.

I agree with Bob. There must be a second breaker box or elect panel in the van. They must be splitting the power somewhere.

On most there is a panel inside near where the appliances are plugged in..there are also usually a diode or solenoid under the hood to charge the batteries....

If any circuit breakers have screw terminals, make sure they're tight, and don't exhibit any obvious corrosion.

They can loosen even in a non-vibration environment... At the Space Command radars I worked at, we actually shut down our entire radar systems for one day each year to allow the Facilities personnel to go through the switch gear and every breaker box to torque each terminal to the manufacturer's specs. There were always a few which had loosened.

I even check the breakers in my house every couple of years. Over the years I've only found a couple which had loosened, and they were on the highest current breakers, such as my electric range and air compressor.
