One of my posts today i was talking about rims size, so i may as well put it out for general discussion.

G30 is 8 lug which is hard to get here in the UK so i will need to ship them. so must get the size correct to fit my G30 (imagine if i got them shipped and they didn't fit)

What i know for the G30

Rim Diameter (in) :16
Rim width (in): 8
Bolt Pattern (in): 8x6.50

I believe the following

Front Center Bore (mm): 78.3
Rear Center Bore (mm): 78.3
Stud_Size: 14x1.5

im not sure about

Offset Range (mm):
Backspace range (mm):

for clarity and my piece of mind can anyone/everyone add the offset & backspace ranges and confirm the rest for rims that will fir the g30

im at the bottom of the learning curve but i love my van

But I can tell ya Id like wider tires on the back....a good wind comes and it will push the back end around....the lighter you make the van the more it moves....I need more surface on the road...like a 10" tire would be just about right....the GM engineers didnt go for a ride & sit in the back on a windy day....

I think the running boards have some thing to do with it ....when a wind comes from the side the running boards act like a air dam on the ft of a Nascar, down force....the red one is way better in any weather the wide tires and the lift , the air goes under & over.....that one doesnt push very easy

ye i noticed that when i was driving mine back from london last week where i bought it. A few high open bridges with high winds and it was a bit of a fight.

I have a set of 255 85 R16 BFG's i plan to put on mine but i need to get the rims sorted first. also plan on doing a lift but not 3" but that's a topic for another day :-)
