im the same way, i feel like a van run is a good way to find out what her short comings are and then when you get home you can work on improving them. All in the pursuit of your perfect van!

On my way home from the nats (18 hour ride) I made a list of things I need and want to do to my van so......no your not crazy and it's not just you.

Im putting a new carpet etc in my van and some interior changes, also bought new wheels and stuff when I got back from the nats.

Home from the Nats, rested for a day.
Then I pulled the 76 Dodge in to the shop, time to start some the ideas, I stole from some of the awesome vans I saw!!

Lol, I got enough Ideas for 3 vans. I was motivated enough that I'm going to be making the rounds, checking out some of the places I know there are neglected vans on a hunt for parts. I'm in talks with a guy to trade my beat up ranchero for a 77 dodge sportsman. thinking about fixing my old shorty something slightly radical.
Your not the only one!!! Time to put things in motion can make plans all day long but sometimes we need a push to put them into action Nats was my push.
