It's about time!
Somebody had to do it sooner or later, it really is good news.
I want to see pix all the way through the install from bare bones to complete.

The 727 small block trans has the right bell housing pattern but an adapter flex-plate is needed (sold by a few companies out there). I was looking into this very swap but it is too wide for the earlier b-series vans. The big-block ones I'm happy to see it fits fine though! smile

THIS THREAD IS WORTHLESS WITHOUT PICS! smile lol

HI EVERYONE, THE VAN IS NOW COMPLETE 5.7 HEMI INSTALLED, REQUIRED A HEAVY DUTY REAR DIFF WITH POSI INSTALLED, SINCE THERE WAS NO ROOM IN FRONT OF THE GRILL TO INSTALL AN A/C CONDENSER AND THE VAN ORIGINALLY DID NOT HAVE A/C THE CONDENSER WAS INSTALLED UNDER THE VAN AND THE EVAPORATOR ASSY WAS INSTALLED UNDER THE REAR COUCH/BED. PROVIDES 1700 BTU's OF COOLING.PERFORMANCE IS REMARKABLE.THE EASY PART WAS THE CONVERSION THE HARD PART IS TRYING TO GET ALL OF THE PICTURES ON THIS FORUM. WILL TRY AGAIN TO POST PICTURES frown any suggestions
