liljack co-chairman, Southeast Van Council Registered: February 06th 2005 12:00 pm Posts: 1673 Loc: Decatur, AL.	Hey Vanners, It's that time of year again. The Southeast Van Council invites vans, vanners, van enthusiasts, and van lovers to come spend the weekend with us in the Smokey Mountains. You can find info here and the printable flier in pdf here and a jpg here. We will be hosting at the Flaming Arrow Campground again this year. We will have a food vendor and a t-shirt vendor on-site. There will be a caricature artist there all weekend so you can take home a flattering representation of you, or your van, or your dog, you get the point. We will have live acoustic music Friday night as well as the pot luck dinner. Saturday will be the show n' shine, awards ceremony, and Cherokee Indian Performance by Tony Walkingstick. We will NOT have a free catered meal this year. We encourage you to support our food vendor, bring some money and eat his outstanding food. We still have tons of opportunities for you, your club, your council, or your business to support this run. You could sponsor a trophy, donate items for the goody bags (business cards, stickers, key chains, etc), or donate raffle/door prizes. We will advertise for you for supporting us. Trophy sponsor advertising is laid out in the sponsor form on the SEVC Website, raffle/door prize sponsors will be noted as we sell tickets and of course at the drawing. We welcome anyone who would like to participate. I hope to see everyone there. It is shaping up to be a very strong run this year. You don't want to wake up Oct 8th and regret missing it. If you are a facebook person, add yourself to the "going" list and invite all your friends here.
