Adam is Portfolio Director at Vannin Capital. Based in London, he works closely with the Chief Investment Officer and other members of the Board on review of cases and ongoing risk management, underwriting and monitoring.
Adam is a solicitor of the Courts of England and Wales. Before joining Vannin, Adam was a Director in Barclays' EME Litigation, Investigations and Enforcement team.
Adam has extensive experience of managing complex, cross-border disputes for financial institutions and corporate clients. Adam trained and qualified at Allen & Overy LLP and spent 4.5 years working on a variety of complex financial disputes, with a focus on derivatives and structured product litigation arising out of the financial crisis.
Adam moved to Barclays in 2011, originally covering litigation in the Investment Bank, working on a number of matters that reached a successful resolution at trial. Adam moved to cover all areas of Barclays’ universal banking business whilst also working on internal and regulatory investigations. Adam was primarily responsible for managing the litigation support provided to the Barclays Non Core business during its existence. This involved managing a number of legacy disputes arising out of numerous jurisdictions and working closely with the senior management team.
In 2018, Adam was shortlisted in the individual Litigation category at the European Counsel Awards.
