Adam is a Managing Director based in the Sydney office of Vannin Capital. He is responsible for managing and advising on Vannin Capital’s multi-million dollar portfolio of funded arbitration, litigation and insolvency claims throughout the Asia-Pacific and globally. Adam is also responsible for assessing claims for investment, including single-case, portfolio and disbursement funding opportunities.
Prior to joining Vannin Capital, Adam was based in Hong Kong for six years practising in the Dispute Resolution department at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, including a secondment to the litigation group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He has also practiced at leading law firms in the UK and in Beijing. During this time, Adam specialised in commercial dispute resolution and represented clients in numerous high-value litigations across several jurisdictions – including the courts of England, Hong Kong and Australia – and gained extensive experience of international commercial arbitration under the rules of the leading arbitration institutions (ICC, HKIAC, SIAC and CIETAC, amongst others). He is also highly experienced in mediation. Adam has also acted for some of the world's leading investment banks, listed companies and investment funds on a range of financial regulatory issues.
Adam is a solicitor of the Courts of Hong Kong and England & Wales. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce.
