After graduating with a First Class Honours Bachelor’s degree, Beth went on to complete a Master’s degree in Accounting and Financial Management at Bristol Business School. It was here that Beth discovered a true passion for financial analysis and modelling and thus went on to pursue her professional qualifications in the field of accountancy.
Beth began her career at Barclays Private Clients International Limited. By the end of her tenure at Barclays, Beth was an Assistant Financial Controller where her responsibilities lay in the end to end financial accounting and control across five offshore jurisdictions, supporting the management of the balance sheet and income statement. Beth has also been involved in a variety of projects including the sale of the Trust Company and a structural reform program adhering to regulatory change in relation to ring fenced banking. This project involved splitting the entire Bank into two trading entities and included support for the closure of an entity with over £386 billion on the balance sheet.
Beth brings a fresh wealth of accounting knowledge gained through her recent exams and experience of working in a Global financial services business. Beth has a proven ability of adapting to change and improving financial reporting processes. She is also an affiliate member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants.
