After graduating with an honours in Business Management from the University of Newcastle, Gail began her career with Deloitte, where her clients included a variety of insurance, banking and investment companies. To gain experience within different sectors Gail made the move to BDO LLP, where she was the field manager for a number of audits including local government and schools.
Following this Gail was appointed Financial Controller of Barclays Private Clients International Limited, where her responsibilities included Group, regulatory and local reporting for the offshore subsidiary of Barclays Bank Plc. She was also involved in a variety of projects including the movement of client assets from a subsidiary to a branch structure. Aside from this Gail also had responsibility for the implementation of regulatory change, built the entity’s budgeting models and made significant improvements to the cost reporting process.
Gail brings a wealth of experience in financial reporting for global businesses and reporting to a range of internal and external stakeholders. She has proven analytical skills and abilities in process improvements and modelling.
Gail is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.
