Steven is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW, Queensland and the High Court of Australia. Before joining Vannin, Steven was an Investment Manager at one of the pioneers of the litigation funding industry in Australia.
During his career as a solicitor, Steven was a Senior Associate at global law firm Squire Patton Boggs where he was involved in a number of high profile pieces of litigation, including class actions against Lehman Brothers, Standard & Poor’s and the Public Trustee of Queensland.
Steven has worked with law firms, claimants, insolvency practitioners, experts and barristers in assessing claims for funding and managing claims. Those claims include securities and non-securities class actions, matters relating to Corporations legislation, trade practices legislation and contractual disputes.
Steven holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Laws from UNSW.
