Zac joined Vannin in September 2014 after almost 10 years working in the City of London.
Prior to joining Vannin, Zac was an Associate Director at National Australia Bank, a AA-rated global bank. He has extensive experience working with both private equity sponsors and the C-Suite management of clients with debt facilities ranging from £10m to £100m+. His portfolio consisted primarily of UK, US and European leveraged finance, corporate and real estate facilities and included both performing and non-performing loans. Zac has a thorough understanding of credit analysis, corporate debt structures and terms as well as bank processes and lending criteria.
In addition to his banking experience, Zac is also a non-practising lawyer. Admitted in both England & Wales and New Zealand, Zac spent a number of years structuring and negotiating UK and European debt finance transactions for lenders and corporate borrowers. His practice was primarily focused on lower mid-market leveraged and real estate finance transactions and he worked both in private practice with London firm Olswang, New Zealand firm Simpson Grierson and in-house with NAB.
Zac is degree qualified in both Law and Finance and has post-graduate qualifications in corporate finance. He has previously been CF30 authorised by the FCA.
