Well now with the advent of digitizing images we all run the risk of losing images that are important to us... I took images of every step of the build, to chronicle the complete process... The few pages that you see are ones that I had started to make the album of the build... All the other images of the build are gone... cry

It really pissed me off... mad

I appreciate your interest in my project...

Here is the first of the current pictures of Project Venom… Couldn’t get it out of the shop this weekend, so I snapped some shots ‘cause I told you guys I would…

As you’ll note from this pic, it does not look like a “shorty van”… With dropping the roof a total of 12” (8” chop & 4” section), it in turn made the van look longer… So at some point I’ll be shortening the van to keep things in proportion…

The interest you guys have shown in this project is much appreciated & has inspired me to break out the equipment & continue the build…

Thanks…

P.S. – I’ll post some more pics later today…

Damn! That is a lot of work there. It really looks like you are doing a great job.

Funny how it does look long with that much taken out of the height.

Project Venom...

This next pic shows the cowl & hood welded together… You can also see where the 4” section was done as indicated by the weld under the beltline (mid-section of van)…

This pic you can get a better visualization of the full size windshield dropped into the body & laid back…

This is a pic of one of the taillight bezels for the yet to be constructed rolled pan…

Ken... I still have a 3" body drop & 3" suspension drop to do... Something else that's hard to see is the roof had to be widened 3" to accomodate the chop...

Yeah, it blew me away about how long it looks, so I think I'll need to shorten it at least 12"...

It's amazing how many pieces you can chop a van into, & still put it back together...
