I guess since Doc didn't say you couldn't play if you're part of the host clubs, I might as well get in on this too.

But just so you know, I may have some insider info. It was brought up at one of our planning meetings last year...what could we do to get 1000 vans to this year's Nats. Considering we had roughly 650 vans in 2005 (not including the hosts), 1000 is not that far of a reach. Plus, the way people raved about the great time they had with us in 2005, I'm thinking that word of mouth might be good for at least another 200 vans this year. Add to that the whole Van Camp activities/classes thing going on and people looking to go on vacation for cheap. Not to mention that Performance Inc's own Truck-In in September - at the same grounds - had it's biggest attendance ever last year...

I'll put my guess in at 925.

I really believe the rain that we partied through the last time it was at Summit Station helped to keep numbers down.

the 29 trucks may be a little low, heck my club has 5 or 6 trucks going days before the nats just to bring in the campers and park outside the gates.....Money is tight for me and if I cant catch a ride with someone then I am taking my car and parking outside....(better on gas and does 90 mph no problem)...my 78 chevy does 65 mph and gets 8 miles per gallon...
