I'm sure, I will have two times the time of my life during this trip. It will start at the Colorado Railroadmuseum,where a special Goose-Gathering is planned (Galloping Goose is the nickname of homebuild motorcars of the Rio Grande Southern, a 3' narrow gauge line in southern colorado, which was scrapped in 1951/1952, and all of the Geeses, which where running 'til the end and beyond, are still alive and should come together for the first time in over 60 years), than meet some old friends of the backyard-railroad scene at Train Mountain in Oregon, and at least, but not last the 40th Nationals. And I'm sure, that will be a blast, especially compared to german/european van events. The biggest event, I ever participated, was the last Van Invasion of the Friends of Vans in Hamburg, whith around 140 Fullsize-Vans on the ground. And for Volkswagon, their one was the VW Bus Meeting Germany with over 1,000 on the ground.
