I know what saying. Looking at pictures, van-ins look like fun, I am looking forward to it.

But I learned a while back, most of the members on the Astro/Safari websites are just happy to be driving their vans down the road. Pretty much just looking for answers to keep there vans running.

I received more compliments & feedback, from Vannin members than the AS website, when pro streeting my Astro.

We are having 2 show and shines, one is on Friday, that is the official show and shine and that will take place in the fairgrounds and only people that are in the event can attend that one. The other is Saturday and that will be open to the public, it is not required to do the public show and shine and some people may opt out of doing it so they can stay at the grounds. The main show and shine will be Friday and that is where most of the vans will be.

badassastro is this your first event ever or just the first Nats? Because no one understands until they do this and then they don't understand why it took so long.

Would like to see the Astro/safari guys there. Is there something I can do to get them here?

This will be first van related event. This is the first time I actual have money (sorta), vacation and a van to drive (other Astro would had to trailer). I tried going last year, didnt work out.

I listed the Nats in events section of the astrosafari website. I sent out the invite, not sure what else to do. Biggest problem now, probably, it is only month away.

Thank you, looking forward to the popping. I changed my mind, will be there Thursday.

Yep, driving the pro street Astro.
This one is so much nicer than other one, more of a cruiser. Power steering, pw, tilt, cruise, ac (sorta works), overdrive, and 19-20 mpg, all comfort features didnt have before. I lost a little bit of stomping power, but hopefully will change that in the future.

About what time will the S&S start on Sat?

Just found out the Bristol Renaissance Fair, is starting July 7th, yet another cool attraction that is close to the Nationals grounds.
