Im trying to start a club in houston. Does anyone know if there is already one in the area? Does the dallas base club (lone star van club) still exsist, noticed thier web site is gone. If they are out, We may want to use lone star in our club name. Just checkin Dan

Welcome to the forums Dan. Lone Star is still active in Dallas and has monthly meetings. I'm not in the club but have attended parties and one of their meetings. They don't have a good web presence now but definitely still exist. Best wishes with your new club and let me know if I can do anything to assist. Grey Beard Thanks for the come back. Great to here lone star is still goin on. Ive been talking to some guys about a club in our area, Im in a car club now, starting to get rice burners hanging around. We need a real club. Thanks for the offer on the truckin, Bad timing for me, daughter getting married april fools day. I'll pass on the word on. I'll for sure make some of the close ones this year. Dan

Keep in touch Dan. We should do a truckin down your way sometime. Either meet up at San Antonio or do something at Galveston. Lot of vanners popping up again in Texas. Good luck with the new club!

JeffL, great to hear theres another vanner in texas, as big as this state is we really dropped the ball on keeping truckin alive!! I wish I could figure how the guys up north do it, Man it seems like truckin is still rockin in the north. Hey give us a little time to rally the troops. Thanks Grey Beard, There a lot of fun!! Going to try to take the 76 to the nats.this year. Its pro street, tubbed, gull wing, runnin a stroker motor. love to show the kids in the little hondas what real horse power is. At almost 50 I may grow up someday! Orange 69 has a 350 w/ 350 auto, next years project is droppin a big block in ole 69 blackie. Looking forward to a truckin in Texas some day. Dan
